CHAPEL HILL - North Carolina guard Paris Kea is the ACC Player of the Week after averaging 28.5 points and 6.5 assists over two games last week for the Tar Heels.

The award is Kea's second of the season. She had 25 points and eight assists during Thursday's 93-78 victory over Boston College. The Greensboro, N.C., native was 10-of-17 from the field in leading the Tar Heels to victory.

Kea scored a season-high 32 points, handed out five assists and picked up four steals on Sunday against No. 9 NC State on her Senior Day from Carmichael Arena. It was the seventh game of her fabulous three-year UNC career in which she scored 30 or more points, the second most in program history.

Kea has led Carolina in scoring nine times this season and has compiled 1,553 points in 87 games in Chapel Hill.

North Carolina (17-12, 8-7 ACC) closes out the regular season at Duke on Sunday at noon on ESPN2.
