Carolina Heads To BC For Final Road Game Tuesday

GAME 30 NOTEBOOK
• North Carolina will play at Boston College on Tuesday night in the Tar Heels' final road game of the 2018-19 season. Raycom will televise the game regionally,
• The Tar Heels enter the final week of the regular season 24-5 overall, 14-2 in the ACC. UNC is tied for first in the ACC with Virginia.
• Carolina is 8-0 in ACC road games. In 2018, Virginia became the first ACC school to go 9-0 on the road in league play.Â
• Carolina is 10-1 on the road this year. This is the eighth time UNC has won 10 or more road games in a season (12 in 1924, 11 in 1935, 14 in 1946, 11 in 1976, 11 in 1987, 10 in 1993, 13 in 2007 and 10 thus far in 2019).
• Carolina is the only team in the Atlantic Coast, American, Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac 12 or Southeastern Conferences with 10 road wins.

• Coby White scored 62 points in the last two games (34 vs. Syracuse, 28 at Clemson). That's the most points in consecutive games by a Tar Heel freshman since Tyler Hansbrough scored 65 points (40 vs. Georgia Tech, 25 vs. Miami) in 2006. The UNC record for freshman scoring in three straight games is 82 points by Hansbrough. White's 62 points were the most in back-to-back game by any player since Hansbrough scored 62 against Clemson and Virginia in 2008.
• White won ACC Player (and Rookie) of the Week honors for his play last week. He joins Cameron Johnson and Luke Maye in winning ACC Player of the Week honors this year. UNC is the only school this season with three different players to win ACC Player of the Week honors.

• Carolina's 88-72 win at Duke was the 14th time UNC has knocked off the No. 1 team in the nation in the AP poll. That is more wins over No. 1 than any other school in college basketball history. Only three schools have won 10 or more – UNC, UCLA (12) and Maryland (10).
• Eight of UNC's 14 wins have come against Duke, including four in Cameron Indoor Stadium, three in the Smith Center and one in the Greensboro Coliseum.Â
