Tar Heels Drop Series, Fall to Georgia Tech 10-5

Atlanta, Ga. – North Carolina fell to Georgia Tech, 10-5, as the Yellow Jackets picked up the series clinching win on Sunday afternoon. The Tar Heels were lead offensively by Michael Busch who went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in the third inning and Aaron Sabato who hit a solo home run in the fourth inning.

- Michael Busch got the Tar Heels on the board with a two out, three-run home run in the third inning to give UNC a 3-0 lead.
- Georgia Tech tied the game with one swing of the bat as they hit their own two out, three run home run in the bottom of the third.
- Aaron Sabato broke the deadlock in the fourth inning with a solo home run to right field to give UNC the 4-3 lead.

- Ike Freeman failed to reach base on Sunday against Georgia Tech which ended his reached based streak at 22 consecutive games. The 22- game streak is tied with Dylan Harris and Ashton McGee for the longest streaks on the team.
