1. 2019 GRADUATES
• A quintet of Tar Heel basketball players graduated from UNC this month, including 2018-19 team members Cameron Johnson, Luke Maye, Kenny Williams and Caleb Ellis, 2017 NCAA champion Justin Jackson and Vasco Evtimov, who played for Dean Smith and Bill Guthridge in the late 1990s.

• By earning his degree, Evtimov fulfilled a promise he made to Smith and Guthridge when he left Carolina early to play professionally in Europe back in 1999.
• Jackson brought his family back to Chapel Hill to celebrate his graduation after leaving UNC for the NBA following the 2017 national title:

2. NBA DRAFT UPDATES
• Coby White, Nassir Little and Cameron Johnson all could be first-round picks in next month's NBA Draft. At the NBA Combine last week, the Tar Heel trio measured up well:

• In an article in the Detroit Free Press, Little described the important role college played in preparing him for the NBA Draft in terms of developing in the weight room, learning to be a complete player and more.
• As White climbs the mock draft boards, he has made it clear to NBA officials he is a point guard, writes NBC Sports Chicago.
• Johnson sees his status as a late bloomer as a plus for the NBA, he tells the Charlotte Observer. The Sixers met with Johnson at the combine, Philly.com writes.
3. NEWS ON THE 2019-20 TAR HEELS
• Head coach Roy Williams and the Tar Heels welcomed several new players to the squad in incoming freshmen Cole Anthony and Anthony Harris and a pair of graduate transfers in Justin Pierce (from William & Mary) and Christian Keeling (from Charleston Southern). 4. MISCELLANEOUS
• The Carolina Basketball Museum will close from May 23-27.
• Harrison Barnes is helping kids learn about basketball and life skills, and he went as far as India to do it, writes the Sacramento Bee. Barnes discussed his offseason plans with SLAM.
• 1957 NCAA champion Lennie Rosenbluth is helping raise awareness of osteoarthritis.
