Ramsey Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

GREENWOOD, Ind. –  After earning all-ACC honors Tuesday, Kiani Ramsey was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District first team as announced Thursday by the national office. Ramsey is Carolina's 13th Academic All-District first team honoree and the first since Lauren Walker in 2015.

An exercise and sport science major graduating this year, Ramsey is an anchor in Carolina's lineup, batting .368 with 11 doubles, four triples and a pair of home runs. The senior owns a team-best, 17 multi-hit games, including a four-hit outing vs. Maryland and a three-hit day vs. Florida State. Ramsey is one of five from the ACC to earn Academic All-District honors.

Ramsey is now eligible to be named a CoSIDA Academic All-American in June.
