• North Carolina and Miami have met every season since the Hurricanes joined the Atlantic Coast Conference in 2004.
• UNC is 5-3 all-time against Miami at Kenan Stadium. The most recent home victory came in a 59-31 victory in 2015, marking the most points the Tar Heels have ever scored against UM.
• Perhaps the most famous meeting in the series at Kenan was UNC's 31-28 upset of fourth-ranked Miami on Oct. 30, 2004.
