Tar Heels Will Welcome Clemson For Saturday Matinee

North Carolina will host Clemson on Saturday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. in the Smith Center. RSN will televise the game regionally.
GAME 16 NOTEBOOK
• Carolina is 8-7 overall, including 1-3 in ACC play. The Tar Heels have lost two conference home games in a row, 96-83 to Georgia Tech and 73-65 to Pittsburgh.
• Clemson is 7-7, 1-3 in the ACC.
• Carolina has lost seven of its last 10 games since beginning the season with wins in its first five games.
• The Tar Heels are 2-4 since leading scorer Cole Anthony was sidelined with a right knee injury.
• Carolina has not lost three consecutive home games since dropping four straight in 2010.

• Junior forward Garrison Brooks has played well all season, performing at an even higher clip in the last six games without Cole Anthony.
• For the season, the LaFayette, Ala., native is averaging 14.4 points and 8.8 rebounds, shooting 54.7 percent from the floor. With Anthony, Carolina's leading scorer at 19.1 points per game, out of action, Brooks has increased his production to 18.7 points and 9.8 boards per game and is shooting 58.9 percent from the floor.
• Brooks is second in the ACC in field goal percentage, third in rebounding and fourth in offensive rebounding, while playing the seventh-most minutes in the league. He's averaging just under 11 minutes more per game than he did a year ago when he started every game.
• Brooks has double-doubles in each of the last three games, including 35 points and 11 rebounds against the Yellow Jackets and 21 and 10 vs. Pitt. He has five career double-doubles, all this season.
• Brooks tied his career high with nine field goals against both Georgia Tech and Pitt, went 17 for 18 from the free throw line vs. Tech and hit his first career three (to tie the game late in the second half) vs. the Panthers.
