Heels Ranked No. 17 In Perfect Game Preseason Top 25

Chapel Hill -- North Carolina will open the 2020 college baseball season ranked No. 17 nationally by Perfect Game, the website announced in its preseason poll Wednesday. Carolina is one of seven teams in the ACC ranked in the top 25 and are joined by No. 1 Louisville, No. 7 Miami, No. 11 Duke, No. 14 Florida State, No. 21 NC State and No. 25 Virginia.

UNC will face Louisville, NC State, Miami, Duke and Virginia in league play as well as ECU who was ranked No. 23.
The Tar Heels open up the 2020 season with nine straight home games beginning on Feb. 14 with a three-game series against Middle Tennessee State.Â
