PFF PERFORMERS
• According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), Dyami Brown (92.0) and Sam Howell (90.5) graded out as the best Tar Heel players in the game against Virginia.
• Javonte Williams is the No. 1 rated Power 5 running back in the nation at 93.0. He leads the country with 45 avoided tackles, 45 first downs and 25 rushes of 10 or more yards.
• Dyami Brown leads the Atlantic Coast Conference with 641 receiving yards (106.8 yards per game) as we've hit the halfway point of the season. In addition, Brown's six receiving touchdowns tie him for the league lead and is tied for the seventh most in the nation.
• Sam Howell tops the league with 307.7 passing yards per game, and is second in total offense and passing efficiency.Â

• The two have combined to average 210.7 yards on the ground this season. Carter is 15th in the nation with 108.0 yards, while Williams is 19th with 102.7 yards per game.Â
• Williams' 13 total TDs (11 rush, two receiving) are the second most in the country. He trails Alabama's Najee Harris, who has 14 rushing touchdowns this season.

• Carolina had 536 total yards of offense against Virginia, extending a streak to four games with at least that many yards for the first time in at least 50 years, dating back to available records that begin in 1971.
• Sam Howell was 23 of 28 for 443 yards and four passing TDs. The 443 yard are the most in his collegiate career and third most in program history. Howell has six of the top 25 single-game passing totals in Tar Heel history.
• Dyami Brown had a career-high 11 catches for 240 yards and three receiving TDs. He has 442 yards and six TDs over the last two seasons against the Cavaliers.
