Surratt Named Butkus Award Semifinalist

CHICAGO - North Carolina senior Chazz Surratt has been named a semifinalist for the 36th annual Butkus Award® honoring the nation's best linebackers at the collegiate and high school levels. The list includes 16 collegiate and 16 high school linebackers.
Surratt leads Carolina with 75 tackles and 6.0 sacks, while sitting second on the team with 7.5 tackles for loss. He has six hurries and one interception, one breakup, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble.
Finalists in both divisions are expected to be announced December 7, and winners will be announced on or before December 22. The pro winner will be announced in early 2021.
