Carolina Notes
• Carolina's last four home losses have been decided by a total of eight points (79-76 in overtime vs. Clemson; 71-70 to Boston College; 98-96 in overtime to Duke; and 64-62 to Virginia).
• It is the second home game in a row the opposition made a shot with less than a second to play to win the game (Duke's Wendell Moore put back a missed shot with no time remaining in overtime on 2/8/15).
• The Tar Heels fall to 10-15 overall, 3-11 in the ACC.
• Carolina has lost five in a row for the second time this season. It's the ninth time in UNC history it has lost five or more games in a row. It also happened twice in a season one other time in 2001-02.
• Carolina's 15 losses equal the fourth most in school history.
• Carolina has lost five ACC games in a row. It had a record six-game ACC losing streak earlier this year. This is the fifth time in UNC history the Tar Heels have lost five or more ACC games in a row and the second time (2001-02) it has happened twice in a season.
• Carolina played only seven players and the bench did not score. The previous low for bench points was two in the OT loss vs. Clemson.
• Carolina is 5-8 at home this season (5-7 in the Smith Center). It's the most home losses since going 6-9 at the Smith Center in 2001-02.
• Carolina shot 50 percent from the floor. It is the second time in three games and the second straight home game the Tar Heels lost when shooting 50 percent from the floor.Â
• UNC is 212-9 under Roy Williams when shooting 50 percent from the floor.
• Carolina is the fourth team to shoot 50 percent against Virginia this season (South Carolina, Georgia Tech and Louisville).
• UNC has shot 50 percent from the floor three times this season (win vs. Miami and losses vs. Duke and Virginia).
• The Tar Heels shot 56.5 percent from the floor in the first half, the third highest in a half vs. Virginia this season.
• Carolina was 3 for 10 from three-point range and is 19 for 85 in the last six games.Â

Tar Heel Player Notes
• Christian Keeling made all three of his free throws with 10.3 seconds to play to give Carolina a 62-61 lead. Keeling had 11 points, his fourth straight game in double figures (he scored in double figures once in the first 21 games this season).
• Armando Bacot had a season-high 16 rebounds, most by a Tar Heel freshman since 2011, when Harrison Barnes had 16 vs. LIU in the NCAA first round. He also committed a season-high five turnovers.
• Garrison Brooks scored a game-high 20 points, his sixth 20-point game of the season (seventh career).
