Point Guard Fan Favorite Finals Voting Guide

Variation in the voting creates two different finals matchups.

After some upsets and some blowouts, the fan favorite point guard voting will finish perhaps the only way it ever could: with some disagreement about who should even be in the finals, much less win it.
Instagram and Twittter produced two different finals matchups. If you're voting on the @UNC_Basketball Twitter feed, you'll be choosing between Carolina's last two national championship point guards, as Joel Berry faces Ty Lawson. Lawson has been dominant throughout the Twitter voting, as Tar Heel fans clearly remember his sensational 2009 campaign, plus his ability to play through an injured toe in the postseason.
But if you're voting on the @UNC_Basketball Instagram feed, the finals matchup is between Berry and Marcus Paige (this is when we have confirmation of how much younger Instagram skews than some other social media). Paige upended Lawson on the IG voting, which gives voters in the finals a choice between two very recent Tar Heel point guards who were teammates for three years in Chapel Hill.
