Ryan McAdoo Earns Scholarship For 2020-21 Season

CHAPEL HILL—Ryan McAdoo, a redshirt junior forward from Boca Raton, Fla., will be on scholarship for the 2020-21 season, University of North Carolina head basketball coach Roy Williams announced today.
McAdoo is in his third year in the program. He played in 2017-18 as a freshman at Florida Gulf Coast University. He then transferred to Carolina following that season and sat out the 2018-19 campaign as a redshirt. Last season, he appeared in 10 games for the Tar Heels.
McAdoo is the son of Bob McAdoo, who played for the Tar Heels in 1971-72 and is a member of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame after a long career in the NBA.
