A graduate transfer from Duke University, where she earned a BS in biology with minors in chemistry and evolutionary anthropology in 2021.
2023 T&F: Second-team All-ACC in the javelin for the second consecutive year ... Finished fifth at the ACC Outdoor Championships with a throw of 48.51m (159-2) ... Posted a personal-best javelin throw of 50.09m to finish fourth at the Raleigh Relays ... Took second place in with a throw of 46.93m at the Wake Forest Invitational ... Earned a trip to the NCAA East First Round and finished 34th there with a javelin throw of 43.90m.

Set the fifth best mark in program history in the javelin, recording a throw of 49.61m (162-9 feet) to finish third at the Tobacco Road Challenge (4/10) ... 2018-19 T&F: Joined the track & field program as a thrower for the 2018-19 season ... Made her Blue Devil track & field debut with a throw of 43.72 (143-5 feet) in the javelin to take fourth place at the HPU Vertklasse Meeting (3/23) ... Finished 15th in the javelin with a throw of 39.23m (128-8 feet) at the Raleigh Relays (3/30) ... Took fourth place in the javelin with a throw of 41.04m (134-8 feet) at the Battle of the Blues (4/6) ... Earned a seventh place finish in the javelin with a toss of 39.86m (130-9 feet) at the Duke Invitational (4/20) .. Took home fifth place in the javelin with a throw of 41.90m (137-6 feet) at the Virginia Grand Prix (4/26) ... Competed in the ACC Outdoor Championships (5/9 - 5/11) for the first time, taking 10th in the javelin with a season best throw of 43.99m (144-4 feet).

2018 (Softball): Appeared in 51 games, starting in 41 contests with 24 coming in the outfield and 14 at second base … Finished the season with two hits, seven runs scored and drew two walks and stole a pair of bases … Recorded her first hit in the Blue Devils' first ACC contest in program history, tallying a single at North Carolina on March 9 … Went 1-for-2 against Campbell (May 6) in the final regular season contest of Duke's inaugural campaign.

Personal: Ashleigh "Cash" Rodriguez was born in Hoffman Estates, Ill., on Feb. 25, 1999 ... The daughter of Vidal and Kathryn Rodriguez … Has a brother, Alston Rodriguez … Is extremely musically inclined … Learned to play the classical, acoustic and electric guitars at age six … Played in a band at a music school at age seven, where she picked up drums … Recorded a song in a recording studio with her band at age eight and performed it on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas … Later learned how to play the stand-up bass and electric bass … Can complete the 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5 Rubik’s cubes.
