#2 Men's Tennis Hosting ITA Kickoff Sunday & Monday

CHAPEL HILL—Second-ranked North Carolina will open its 2021 season by hosting four ITA Kickoff Weekend matches, welcoming Duke, Northwestern and South Carolina to Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center on Sunday and Monday.
Fans are not permitted at the tennis center this season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please follow all matches this weekend with live scoring and through the PlaySight video streaming service. South Carolina and Duke will open Kickoff action on Sunday at 10 a.m. The Tar Heels will follow by taking on Northwestern at 2 p.m.
The two winning teams and losing teams will meet each other in the championship match on Monday. The winner of the championship match will advance to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships, to be held February 12-14 in Champaign, Ill. The Tar Heels reached the championship match of the ITA National Indoors in 2020 before falling to USC.
The top-ranked Carolina women's tennis team also is hosting ITA Kickoff action this weekend in Chapel Hill on Friday and Saturday, hosting Mississippi, Notre Dame and Old Dominion.
