Carolina Volleyball Wraps up Regular Season at Duke

CHAPEL HILL – The Carolina volleyball team wraps up the regular season tomorrow night with a Tobacco Road matchup at Duke. First serve is at 6:30 p.m. in Cameron Indoor Stadium, with the action airing live on ACC Network Extra.
This is the third time the Tar Heels (20-8, 9-8 ACC) and the Blue Devils (16-12, 7-10 ACC) have met this season, with Carolina earning two sweeps in the last two matchups. The Tar Heels have also won six of the last seven matches against Duke.
The last meeting between the two was on Oct. 22 in Carmichael Arena. In that matchup, freshman Mabrey Shaffmaster tallied a match-best 13 kills and two aces, while Carolina out-hit the Blue Devils .322-.074.
Next up for Carolina is awaiting selection for the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Tournament during the 2021 DI Women's Volleyball Selection Show on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. on ESPNU. If the Tar Heels make the tournament, it would be the first time since 2016.
