Kania & Zapp Off To San Diego For ITA Fall Nationals

CHAPEL HILL—University of North Carolina men's tennis players Casey Kania and Logan Zapp will begin play at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Fall Championship on Thursday in San Diego, Calif. The ITA will host the event at the Barnes Tennis Center.
Kania, a freshman, and Zapp, a sophomore, teamed together and reached the finals of the ITA Carolina Regional the last weekend of October, thus qualifying for nationals this week.
Kania and Zapp will open play on Thursday along with 31 other doubles teams. The Tar Heel duo will face Pedro Vives and Lui Maxted of Texas Christian on Thursday at 5 p.m. ET.
