Herbert and Tillman Named to USA U21 World Championship Roster

CHAPEL HILL – North Carolina men's lacrosse players Cole Herbert and Lance Tillman have been named to the final 23-player roster representing the country in the 2022 World Lacrosse Men's U21 World Championship, which will take place Aug. 10-20, 2022, in Limerick, Ireland.
Herbert, a midfielder from Kingsville, Md., had four goals, four assists, and five ground balls in 2021. He started four games, saw action in 15, and was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Tillman, an attackman from Highlands Ranch, Colo., scored 10 goals, two assists, and six ground balls during the 2021 season. He played in all 16 games and was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll for his outstanding achievement in the classroom.
The final 23 players represent 14 different colleges and come from high schools in 10 different states. The next event for the team will be training weekend at USA Lacrosse headquarters in June.
