UNC Celebrates December Graduates

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Twenty-nine student-athletes were among more than 1,300 graduates receiving their degrees Sunday in 2021 Winter Commencement ceremonies at the Dean E. Smith Center.
Chancellor Kevin Guskiewicz presided over the ceremony, which included 664 undergraduates and 677 graduate and professional students, telling the group, ""Today we gather to recognize your hard work and celebrate this well-earned moment. Earning a degree is a remarkable achievement under the best of circumstances, and as we all know, you made it to this day under some truly extraordinary circumstances."
Student-athletes gathered ahead of the ceremony for a reception at the Ernie Williamson Athletics Center, courtesy of the Rams Club.
Listed below are Tar Heel student-athletes who received degrees on Sunday. (The list also includes some who were once members of UNC rosters but whose careers were cut short for medical reasons.)
