Ezeudu, Vohasek Land On Outland, Nagurski Watch Lists

CHAPEL HILL - Offensive lineman Joshua Ezeudu and defensive lineman Raymond Vohasek were named to the preseason watch list for the 2021 Outland Trophy, while Vohasek was also placed on the Bronko Nagurski Trophy Watch list, as announced Tuesday by the Football Writers Association of America.
The Outland Trophy recognizes the standout interior linemen in college football, while the Nagurski Trophy honors the top defensive standout across the nation.
Ezeudu, who was named to the Preseason All-ACC team earlier today, was an All-ACC third team selection in 2020. The junior from Lawrenceville, Ga., started all 10 games he appeared in last season and earned ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors on Dec. 14.
Vohasek, a senior from McHenry, Ill., started all 11 games he played in last year and earned All-ACC Honorable Mention plaudits. He recorded 29 tackles, tied for the team lead with seven tackles for loss, had 3.5 sacks, four hurries and two breakups.
