Kiernan Named To Ray Guy Award Watch List

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Junior Ben Kiernan will begin the season on the 2021 Ray Guy Award watch list. The award presented by the Augusta Sports Council honors the nation's top collegiate punter.
Kiernan, who was born in Dublin, Ireland, averaged 43.7 yards across 34 punts during his 2020 sophomore campaign. He landed 16 punts inside the 20 and eight went for 50 or more yards.Â
He was named a Ray Guy Award Top 4 Player after averaging 50.6 yards on seven punts against No. 2 Notre Dame last year.Â
Kiernan owns a 42.2 yard average in his career that spans 94 punts in 22 games.
