Chapel Hill, NC -- Â The North Carolina Tar Heels scrimmaged the Walters State Senators on Saturday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium.
Scrimmage highlights from offense: Patrick Alvarez was 2-4 with four RBI. Colby Wilkerson was 2-2 with two RBI. Vance Honeycutt was 2-3 with one run scored. Alberto Osuna was 2-4 with one run scored. Tomas Frick was 2-2 with one run scored.
Scrimmage highlights from pitching: Caden O'Brien, Davis Palermo and Will Sandy each struck out two batters in 1.0 innings apiece. Connor Bovair struck out four in 2.0 innngs. Brandon Schaeffer and Shaddon Peavyhouse each threw 2.0 scoreless, hitless innings.
