
Wrestling To Compete at David H. Lehman F&M Open

LANCASTER, PA. -Â The No. 20 North Carolina wrestling team will send 11 wrestlers to Lancaster, Pa., to compete at the David H. Lehman F&M Open, Jan. 7. The tournament will take place at the Alumni Sports & Fitness Center on the campus of Franklin & Marshall College.

Five Tar Heels earned victories highlighted by Joe Heilmann defeating No. 23 Codi Russell at 133 Kizhan Clarke stayed undefeated with a solid 7-3 decision. Austin O'Connor took care of business and earned the 12-3 major decision. Gavin Kane earned a clutch 3-1 decision in the 184 bout to give the Tar Heels the lead. Max Shaw downed Mason Fiscella in a 10-1 major decision to extend the Tar Heels lead and seal the win.
