Brown Named To Coach Of The Year Watch Lists

HOUSTON - North Carolina football coach Mack Brown has been named to a pair of watch lists for national coach of the year honors.Â
Brown, who has guided the Tar Heels to the top of the Atlantic Coast Conference's Coastal Division, is included on the watch list for the Dodd Trophy and the Paul "Bear" Bryant Coach Of the Year Award.
Ranked No. 22 in both major college football polls, Carolina improved to 6-1 this fall after this past Saturday's 38-35 victory at Duke.
UNC is 3-0 in conference play thus far in 2022 and will take on division rival Pitt on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 8 p.m. on ACC Network.
