Men’s Lacrosse To Scrimmage Harvard At Bob Kemp Classic

CHAPEL HILL – North Carolina's men's lacrosse returns to action on Sunday, Oct. 9 in North Bethesda, Maryland, with a scrimmage against Harvard at the sixth annual Bob Kemp Classic.
The Bob Kemp Lacrosse Classic is an annual tournament to celebrate the life and legacy of Bob Kemp, while honoring those with a notable commitment to faith, family, and athletics. The event raises money for the Washington Jesuit Academy fund that helps students gain educational opportunities, no matter their socioeconomic status.
"Anytime you have an opportunity to honor a great man like Bob Kemp in the lacrosse classic, and share his story of family and lacrosse, it's a special event," said head coach Joe Breschi. "His passion, dedication and love for the game of lacrosse was extraordinary, and we are thrilled to celebrate Bob's legacy with his family and friends."
The tournament is the Tar Heels' only Fall scrimmage and is the first time the Bob Kemp Classic has been held since 2019.
Free to the public, the event features youth lacrosse matchups prior to the marquee matchup between the Tar Heels and the Crimson.
