• Carolina held previously-unbeaten JMU to 41 points below the Dukes' season average. The Tar Heels limited JMU to 34.8% shooting from the floor and 7 of 27 from three (JMU was shooting 58.6% from the floor and 54.1% from three entering the game).
• The Tar Heels out-rebounded the Dukes, 50-34, UNC's largest rebound margin of the season (JMU was plus 18 per game).
• Carolina equaled its season high in three-pointers with eight.
