Season Debut Of Banghart Radio Show Set For Monday

Holding Court with Courtney Banghart, the Tar Heel Sports Network's weekly women's basketball radio show, returns to an in-person format for the 2022-23 season. Presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, the season's first show is set for  Monday, Dec. 12 at noon at the Sheraton Chapel Hill.
After two years of virtual shows, fans are invited to the hotel's newly renovated "Sheraton Club" to hear head coach Courtney Banghart and Matt Krause, radio play-by-play voice of Carolina women's basketball, discuss the No. 8 Tar Heels' non-conference season and storylines surrounding the team. A special lunch menu, along with beverages, will be available for purchase.
The Sheraton Chapel Hill, which reopened in 2021 after a $15 million renovation, is located at One Europa Drive in Chapel Hill, just off U.S. 15-501 and mere minutes from downtown and the UNC campus. Ample free parking is available.

For those unable to attend in person, fans can hear each episode, beginning with this week's show, on demand as a podcast via the Tar Heel Voices Podcast Channel.
