Tar Heel Duo Named To Preseason All-ACC Team

CHAPEL HILL - Two Tar Heels have been named to the Preseason All-Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Team, announced Tuesday afternoon by the league.
Graduate student Chris Gray was selected as one of three attackmen on the list. Senior Connor Maher represents the Tar Heels as one of three short stick midfielders on the list.

In the preseason coaches poll, the Tar Heels ranked fourth with 12 points in the balloting. Virginia led the way with 23 points, Duke got 17, and Notre Dame 16. Syracuse was fifth with seven points.
UNC opens the 2022 season on Friday, Feb. 11, hosting Richmond for a 5 p.m. game that will be broadcast live on ACC Network.
