Tar Heels Set For 2022 Division I Wrestling Championships

DETROIT, MICH. - North Carolina will have six wrestlers competing in the 2022 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships Thursday through Saturday at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Mich. Led by No. 10 Clay Lautt at 174 pounds, the Tar Heels will begin competition Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

The complete list of Tar Heels competing, along with their final seeds, are below:

133 pounds: Joe Heilmann (18)
141 pounds: Kizhan Clarke (15)
149 pounds: Zach Sherman (32)
157 pounds: Austin O'Connor (11)
174 pounds: Clay Lautt (10)
184 pounds: Gavin Kane (14)
