CHAPEL HILL – The 2022 Premier Lacrosse League season rolled on and traveled to North Carolina for the first time this past weekend. Seven former Tar Heels competed this weekend in Charlotte, N.C., at American Legion Memorial Stadium.
June 10, 2022 || Chrome vs. Redwoods
Justin Anderson had a complete game in Chrome's 12-3 win over Redwoods. He notched one goal, one assist, one ground ball, and one caused turnover in the winning effort.
June 10, 2022 || Archers vs. Chaos
Marcus Holman continued his hot start to the season with two goals, while Mark McNeill helped anchor the defense with two ground balls in the Archer's 17-12 win over Chaos. On the opposite side of the field, Tanner Cook scored a goal and dished out an assist for Chaos. Jack Rowlett collected two ground balls on defense.

Chris Gray continues to impress early in his rookie season as he scored two goals and dished out three assists in the Atlas's convincing 16-8 win over Cannons. Stephen Kelly struggled at face-off for the Cannons as he went 5-23 with four ground balls in the loss.
