CHAPEL HILL – The Premier Lacrosse League headed to the Lonestar state for some lacrosse action this past weekend. Seven former Tar Heels competed at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Tex.
July 30, 2022 || Archers vs. Atlas
Chris Gray had a solid game, scoring two goals with one assist in Atlas's 14-9 win over Archers. Marcus Holman led Archers offensively with three goals and one assist. On defense, Mark McNeill caused two turnovers.
July 30, 2022 || Chrome vs. Whipsnakes
Justin Anderson scored a two-point goal and dished out an assist in Chrome's close 9-8 loss against Whipsnakes.
July 31, 2022 || Cannons vs. Waterdogs
Stephen Kelly scored his fourth goal of the season in the Cannon's 15-14 loss to Waterdogs. At the faceoff, he went 17-33 and picked up 11 ground balls.

Chaos's Chris Cloutier notched a goal and two assists in the winning effort over Redwoods. Jack Rowlett collected two ground balls, one caused turnover, and took two faceoffs.
