Inside the Numbers (ITN) is back for the 2022 season and will continue to keep Tar Heel football fans up to date with interesting news and numbers from the gridiron, and will include some of the top social media posts following each game.
FRESHMEN LEADERS
• His five rushing touchdowns are tied with Nebraska's Anthony Grant for the most among FBS running backs.
• Leads all FBS freshmen running backs with 228 rushing yards.
• Leads the nation with 11 passing touchdowns, 930 passing yards and is tops among all freshmen QBs with 310.0 passing yards and 358.7 yards of total offense per game.
• Among FBS freshman wide receivers, Paysour leads the way with 14 catches, ranks second with 172 receiving yards and is tied among five players with two receiving touchdowns.
4Q SHUTOUT
• Carolina's defense shut out Georgia State in the fourth quarter, just one week after giving up 40 points at App State last Saturday in Boone, N.C.

• Carolina's tight ends combined for seven receptions, 151 receiving yards and a touchdown in the win at Georgia State. Kamari Morales led the way with 71 yards on three catches and scored the game's opening touchdown from 55 yards, the longest reception of his career. John Copenhaver also registered a career-long 47 yard grab against the Panthers.
• Cedric Gray registered a career-high 14 tackles for the second-straight game and also had a pair of tackles for loss.
• Myles Murphy blocked a late first-half field goal attempt that gave UNC a 21-10 lead at intermission.
