Maye Named ACC Rookie Of The Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye has been recognized as the Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Week after his performance last weekend against Notre Dame.

Named ACC Rookie of the Week for the second time following his performance in the Tar Heels' 45-32 loss to Notre Dame • Had 337 total yards and threw five touchdown passes, raising his season total to 16 in four games • Finished 17-of-32 passing for 301 yards and rushed for 36 yards.
The Tar Heels (3-1, 0-0) will host Virginia Tech (2-2, 1-0) before a sell-out crowd this Saturday at Kenan Stadium at 3:30 p.m. on ACC Network.
