Inside the Numbers (ITN) is back for the 2022 season and will continue to keep Tar Heel football fans up to date with interesting news and numbers from the gridiron, and will include some of the top social media posts following each game.

TAR HEELS TICKING ON OFFENSE
• Carolina's offense is once again among the top units in college football and ranks among the top programs nationally in numerous stat categories. Carolina has scored 186 points through four games in 2022, the most since the Tar Heels had 189 points in 1981. The program record is 207 all the way back in 1914.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
WELCOME BACK!
• Wide receivers Josh Downs and Antoine Green both returned to the field last Saturday against Notre Dame and both scored two receiving touchdowns against the Fighting Irish. They are the first Tar Heel duo to have two receiving TDs in the same game since the 59-53 win over Wake Forest in 2020 when Dyami Brown and Dazz Newsome each hauled in a pair of scores from Sam Howell.
