Maye Earns Numerous Player Of The Week Awards

North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye has received numerous player of the week honors on Tuesday after his outstanding performance last Saturday in the thrilling victory over App State.
Maye has earned ACC Quarterback and Freshman of the Week honors, while also being named the Maxwell Award Player of the Week, a Manning Award "Star of the Week and the Davey O'Brien Great 8 List.
Fans can now go to the Allstate Sugar Bowl Facebook page to vote for the best performance from this past weekend.
The red-shirt freshman signal caller was 24 of 36 for 352 passing yards and four passing touchdowns through the air and added 76 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground.
He set career highs in total offense (428 yards), passing yards, rushing yards and the five touchdowns accounted for in the 63-61 road win over the Mountaineers.
