Third-Ranked Women's Soccer Treks To Boston College For Regular Season Finale

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The third-ranked North Carolina women's soccer team heads north for its final game of the regular season, facing Boston College on Thursday, Oct. 26, at Newton Campus Field in Newton, Mass. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. ET and will air on ACCNX.Â

- Isabel Cox has made 104 career appearances, the most among all active DI players. She's currently tied for eighth all-time in NCAA DI history and is three games shy of matching the UNC program record.
- Four Tar Heels were listed in TopDrawerSoccer's Midseason Top 100 Player List: Maycee Bell (#5), Ally Sentnor (#25), Sam Meza (#28) and Avery Patterson (#40).

- UNC is coming off a 6-1 win over Syracuse on Oct. 22. Its six goals, 42 shots and 19 shots on goal were all season highs.Â
- Carolina's defense has held 16 of its 17 opponents to 10 shots or less, eight of those to five or fewer and three to only one.Â
- This will be the 24th meeting between North Carolina and Boston College in program history, with UNC leading the all-time series at 22-1 overall and 12-0 on the road.
- UNC and BC last faced each other on Sept. 25, 2022, in Chapel Hill with Kate Faasse and Patterson scoring to help the Tar Heels secure a 3-0 win.
