Women’s Soccer Rematches With Alabama In NCAA Second Round

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of North Carolina women's soccer team continues its quest for the 23rd national championship in program history, playing in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, Nov. 17. UNC, who earned a No. 3 seed, will take on sixth-seed Alabama in Lubbock, Texas.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET (2:30 CT) at John Walker Soccer Complex and the match will air on ESPN+.
The Tar Heels and Crimson Tide – who both advanced to the College Cup last year – will face off for the second time this season. The teams played each other in Tuscaloosa on Sept. 10, ending in a 1-1 draw.

- North Carolina has an all-time record of 145-17-5 in the NCAA Tournament.
- The Tar Heels are 27-1 in the NCAA Second Round, out-scoring its first-round opponents 109-12.
