Women's Tennis Announces 2024 Schedule

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina Head Coach Brian Kalbas announced the 2024 Tar Heel tennis schedule Thursday.
The Tar Heels' 2024 indoor slate includes five opponents that were ranked in last season's final ITA team rankings.
North Carolina will open the indoor season hosting Elon, Georgetown and Campbell on January 13 and 15. The following week, January 20-21, UNC will host two SEC opponents with Auburn and Georgia visiting Chapel Hill.
In the final week of competition before the 2024 ITA Indoor Championships, North Carolina will welcome the Oregon Ducks, Charlotte 49ers and Kentucky Wildcats to Chewning Tennis Center on January 26-27.
The culmination of the indoor season will take place at the ITA Indoor Championships in Seattle, Washington on February 9-12. In Seattle, North Carolina will look to win its fifth consecutive ITA Indoor Title.
Following the indoor season, North Carolina will travel to Florida for its first weekend of ACC play on February 23-25 against Florida State and Miami.
After its trip to Florida, the Tar Heels will return home for four consecutive matches against Boston College, Syracuse, Georgia Tech and Clemson between March 2-9.
Following the homestand, UNC will travel to play against each North Carolina ACC opponent. First, the Tar Heels will face the NC State Wolfpack on March 22. It will be the first time the two teams have faced each other since North Carolina defeated the Wolfpack in the national championship match last season. Next, North Carolina will travel to Winston-Salem to face Wake Forest and will finish its three-match road trip against archrival Duke in Durham.
To begin the month of April, the Tar Heels will return home for its two final ACC matches. North Carolina will welcome Virginia and Virginia Tech the weekend of Feb. 5-7.
In the final week of ACC play on April 12-14, UNC will travel north to face Louisville and Notre Dame before postseason play begins.
This year, the ACC Championships will be played on April 17-21 in Cary, N.C.
Following the ACC tournament, NCAA Regional action takes place on May 3-5, NCAA Super Regionals are slated for May 10-11 and the NCAA Championships are set for May 16-25.
