Big Home Weekend On Tap For Men's Tennis
February 3, 2023 | Men's Tennis
The University of North Carolina men's tennis program has a key weekend on tap this weekend in Chapel Hill.Â
The Tar Heels, ranked No. 14 in this week's Intercollegiate Tennis Association Top 25, will host a pair of key non-conference matches on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center. Carolina will host Illinois on Saturday at 4 p.m. before hosting third-ranked TCU on Sunday at 2:30.
A live stream of both matches will be available, as will live scoring.
Carolina (4-1) posted two big victories last weekend at home as part of the ITA Kickoff Weekend. Carolina beat Oklahoma State, 4-0, and No. 13 Harvard, 4-1. UNC, which won the ITA National Indoor Team Championship in both 2016 and 2021, earned the right to advance to the event's final 16 teams later this month in Chicago.
