No. 5 Women’s Lacrosse Treks To East Carolina For Nonconference Finale

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The No. 5 University of North Carolina women's lacrosse team will head to Greenville for its final nonconference game of the 2023 season Tuesday at East Carolina. First draw is set for 4 p.m. ET at Johnson Stadium and the game will be aired on ESPN+.
The Tar Heels currently sit at 10-2 overall (6-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) and the Pirates are 10-3 (3-0 American Athletic Conference).

Nine of Carolina's 16 goals had an assist, and five of those nine came from Caitlyn Wurzburger for a new season-high. She now has 22 on the year to bring her career total up to 81, tied for sixth all-time in program history.
