RALEIGH, N.C. - The North Carolina rowing program returns to the water and a familiar site this weekend, heading to the 2023 ACC Rowing Championships held at Lake Wheeler in nearby Raleigh.

This weekend will be the second event of the 2023 season for the Tar Heels at Lake Wheeler, as North Carolina co-hosted the Lake Wheeler Invitational last month alongside fellow ACC competitor Duke. The 2023 ACC Rowing Championships is the first time in conference history the event has been held at Lake Wheeler, with the past 12 championships being held at Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C.
