Tar Heels Dot Final ITA Rankings For 2023

A pair of University of North Carolina singles players and three Tar Heel doubles teams earned spots in the final 2023 ITA rankings, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced this week.
Graduate students Brian Cernoch and Ryan Seggerman both finished the year ranked in singles play.
Meanwhile, a trio of Tar Heel doubles teams grabbed final rankings. Seggerman and sophomore Casey Kania finished No. 18, Cernoch and freshman Benjamin Kittay were No. 39 and Cernoch and Seggerman were No. 76 based largely on their play in the fall prior to dual match season.
