Tar Heels Headed To Charlotte For ACC Kickoff

The North Carolina Tar Heels will take over Charlotte on Thursday, July 27, when four representatives from the football program participate in the annual ACC Kickoff. Head coach Mack Brown will be joined by tight end John Copenhaver, linebacker Cedric Gray and quarterback Drake Maye for a full day of press conferences, interviews, photo shoots and television network prep for the 2023 season.
The Carolina contingent will start the day with their main press conference at 10 a.m. Fans can watch the press conference on ACCNX (Watch ESPN app) by clicking HERE. Brown will appear on the ACC Network Live set at 10:30 a.m. as well.
From there, the quartet will run through a gauntlet of interviews with local, regional and national media, followed by various rooms with ACC media partners and appearances on radio row. The Tar Heels will finish the day on the ACC Network live sets at 3:30 p.m.
Immediately after things wrap-up at ACC Kickoff, the ACC Network will air the premiere of All-Access with Carolina Football at 4 p.m. There will also be a re-air of the 30-minute show at 7 p.m.
All-Access with Carolina Football will offer a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the North Carolina football program leading into the 2023 season. Part 1 introduces new members of the UNC program and shows how players spend their free time, while Hall of Fame head coach Mack Brown evaluates the offseason.
