Heel-O-Ween Lax Ball Scheduled For Oct. 29

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The UNC men's and women's lacrosse, baseball and softball teams will host the third annual Heel-O-Ween Lax Ball and Trunk-or-Treat event to benefit UNC Children's Hospital on Sunday, Oct. 29 at Anderson Softball Stadium. The fun begins at 2 p.m. and admission is a donation of $5 per family or group.
Costumes are encouraged and trick or treat stations will be set up around the Anderson concourse.
Men's lacrosse and softball will make up one team with women's lacrosse and baseball on the other. The teams will face off for a five-inning game of "Lax Ball," a baseball/softball hybrid played with a tennis ball.
Last year's event raised more than $2,700 for the hospital.
Anderson Softball Stadium is located at 912 Raleigh Rd., behind the UNC General Administration Building.
