Volleyball Heads North For ACC-B10 Challenge

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – After back-to-back, straight-set victories in Carmichael Arena, the Carolina volleyball team (4-1) heads north to Michigan for the ACC-B10 Challenge this weekend.

The Tar Heels will face Michigan (1-4) on Friday at 7 p.m., before traveling to East Lansing for a 1 p.m. match with Michigan State. Both matchups will be streamed on Big Ten Network Plus.

It will be a battle of first-year head coaches in Ann Arbor as Michigan head coach Erin Virtue is in her first year as head coach
Redshirt freshman Lauren Schutter spent her first year of college at Michigan state before transferring to Carolina this season
Carolina ranks second in the ACC in service aces, averaging 2.10 aces per set. Zoe Behrendt ranks fifth in the conference, averaging .54 aces per set, the most of any freshman in the ACC
Emani' Foster ranks fourth in the conference in kills, averaging 3.72 kills per set
