Donations For Hurricane Helene Relief To Be Accepted Again This Saturday

CHAPEL HILL – Carolina fans will have another opportunity this Saturday (Oct. 12) to provide relief for those in western North Carolina affected by Hurricane Helene.

As the UNC football team hosts Georgia Tech at noon and the men's basketball team plays its Blue-White scrimmage 45 minutes following the end of the football game, donations will be accepted at drop-off locations around campus, including Kenan Stadium, the Smith Center, and the Friday Center.

Donation Drop-off Locations:
Donations will be accepted from 10 a.m. to the start of the fourth quarter of the football game at Gate 2, 3, and 6 at Kenan Stadium, and from 10 a.m. to the start of the second half of the Blue-White Scrimmage at the Smith Center and the Friday Center.

Fans and community members are encouraged to contribute the following items:
- Cases of water
- Premixed (ready to use) baby formula
- Baby wipes
- Hygiene products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, hand sanitizer, feminine products)
- Diapers
- Shampoo/body wash
- Flashlights/lanterns
All donations will be delivered to western North Carolina by Lee's 24 Hour Towing, a partner of Carolina Athletics, and go directly to individuals impacted by the events of Hurricane Helene.
