Donate Items For Hurricane Helene Relief At Saturday's Football Game

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – As fans cheer on the football Tar Heels this Saturday (Oct. 5) against Pittsburgh, they can also help provide relief for those in western North Carolina affected by Hurricane Helene.
Donations will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at various sites around Kenan Stadium.
The Tar Heels host Pitt at noon, and the Carolina football equipment trailer will be located outside Gate 2 to collect supplies while other drop-off site are also available.
Donation Drop-off Locations:
-Kenan Stadium Gate 2
-Kenan Stadium Gate 3
-Kenan Stadium Gate 6
-Friday Center Park & Ride Lot (1458 Raleigh Road)
-Front of UNC Ticket Office (Skipper Bowles Drive)
Fans and community members are encouraged to contribute the following items:
-Cases of water
-Premixed (ready to use) baby formula
-Baby wipes
-Hygiene products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, hand sanitizer, feminine products)
-Diapers
-Shampoo/body wash
-Flashlights/lanterns
All donations will be delivered to western North Carolina by Lee's 24 Hour Towing, a partner of Carolina Athletics, and go directly to individuals impacted by the events of Hurricane Helene.
