Women’s Soccer Hosts Virginia Tech In ACC Tournament First Round

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Postseason action officially gets underway on Sunday at Dorrance Field as fourth-seeded North Carolina women's soccer hosts fifth-seeded Virginia Tech in the first round of the 2024 Ally Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. ET.
The match will air nationally on ACC Network with Paddy Foss and Jonathan Yardley on call. Tickets are available for purchase here.
It will also be a top-12 showdown as the Tar Heels are ranked No. 8 nationally with the Hokies checking in at No. 12 in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll.

- The Tar Heels lead the all-time series at 21-3-1, out-scoring the Hokies 59-17 all-time. UNC remains undefeated against VT in Chapel Hill.
- The last meeting between the Tar Heels and Hokies was in Chapel Hill on Sept. 15, 2023, in the ACC opener. Evelyn Shores had the lone goal in the 67th minute.
