Wear Carolina Blue When Football Takes On Wake Forest
November 7, 2024 | Football
With the announcement that Carolina football will host its first true night game of the season versus Wake Forest, the Tar Heels are asking fans to wear Carolina Blue against the Demon Deacons. The ACC match-up is scheduled to kickoff at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16 in Kenan Stadium. If you don't have tickets yet, you can secure yours by clicking HERE.
Carolina is on a two-game winning streak after comfortably defeating Virginia and Florida State on the road. The Tar Heels return home at 5-4 and needing a victory over Wake Forest (4-4) to become bowl eligible for the sixth straight season, which would be the second-longest streak in program history.
Fans and students can support the Tar Heels by wearing Carolina Blue at the game. With the 8 p.m. kickoff, UNC will take full advantage of the custom lighting system in Kenan Stadium. In addition, the first 3,500 students will receive a rally towel entering the game.
In addition to the blue out, the game versus Wake Forest also serves as UNC's Military Appreciation Game, where it will welcome a number of veterans into Kenan Stadium. As part of Military Appreciation Game festivities, Carolina Athletics is offering complimentary tickets to active duty military, veterans and their families through Vet Tix. This is made possible thanks to donations made to UNC's Seats for Service campaign. Fans can help send Tar Heel military families to the game for as little as $10. For more information, click HERE.
The Wake Forest game is also Monogram Day for former student-athletes and Rams Club Day.
