Volleyball Falls To No. 1 Pitt

PITTSBURGH, PA. – North Carolina volleyball (18-4, 10-3 ACC) fell on the road to No. 1 Pitt (22-1, 12-1 ACC) on Friday, Nov. 8.
The Tar Heels battled with the Panthers in the second set but ended up falling, 25-22. They had multiple runs to cut tie the frame at 21-21, but they couldn't get over the hump and take the lead.
This is only the second time this season that Carolina was swept, and the first time it didn't hold a lead at any point in the match.
NOTABLES:
The Tar Heels will now turn their attention to another top-10 opponent when they take on No. 10 SMU on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 1 PM CT/2 PM ET.
